Hood to History tells the inspiring journey of Cherelle George, a female basketball player who took the moves she developed on the street courts of Reading, PA all the way around the world and into the record books. Cherelle used the lessons she learned on and off the court to keep her focused as she broke barriers in the world of basketball over and over again on her way to making history. Her story highlights how she became the first female Harlem Globetrotter to set a Guinness World Record, showing that talent, perseverance, creativity and staying positive can lead to historic achievements. It’s a testament to how roots and culture can shape extraordinary success.
